Each day Tammi tries to squeeze in some time for writing, as "writing is my passion." Most of her time, however, is spent with her family. Husband Ron and Tammi have a six-year-old daughter, Julia, who aspires to be "an archeologist or maybe a princess" and a three-year-old son, Mason, who has an exasperating habit called "eating-bologna-by-the-side-of-Mommy's-bed-at-2:30-in-the-morning."
