Susan wrote her first story in third grade, a really stinky 30-page story about a horse named Barandie. Susan kept writing poems and stories all the way through school, and they got less stinky, thank goodness! Susan worked on school newspapers and magazines, and had her first poem published during her senior year of high school. Now, she works part-time as a psychologist and full-time as a writer. Fat Tuesday is her first published book.
